My calendar
Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
My calendar (mycalendar.yarik.biz) is a small free calendar made by one person, Yaroslav. This page explains in plain words what the site stores and why. We don't sell data, don't show ads and don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
What we store
- Your account: name, email and site language. Your password is never stored — only a salted hash of it (PBKDF2), so nobody can read it.
- What you add: tasks (text, date, time, category, importance, repeats), your own categories, birthdays you add and photos you attach to tasks.
- Your rating of the site, if you leave one.
- Where you first came from: the website that linked to us (for example reddit.com) or the tag in the link (utm_source=…), and, if a friend invited you, who invited you. This helps us understand which places bring people.
- Visit counts: how many people came from each source per day. These are just numbers, not tied to you.
Cookies and browser storage
- One cookie keeps you signed in (a random session token). It is not used for tracking.
- Your browser remembers small settings on your device: theme, language, the last view and where you first came from.
Where the data lives and who can see it
- Data is stored on our own server. Only you can see your tasks; the site administrator can see the list of accounts (name, email, sign-up date, where you came from), but not your tasks.
- The site runs behind Cloudflare, which delivers pages and protects against attacks. Like any network provider, it processes technical data such as your IP address.
- The assistant works on our server: your messages to it are not sent to any AI company. If this ever changes, we will update this page first.
- Reminders are shown by your own browser.
Demo mode
“Try without signing up” creates a temporary account. It and everything in it are deleted automatically after 24 hours unless you save it.
Your choices
- You can download all your tasks at any time: Overview → “Settings & data” → “Download backup”.
- You can ask us to delete your account and all your data — write to us in the comments of our Telegram channel @mycalendar_yarik. We delete it within 30 days.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
